bridge 1 a: a structure carrying a pathway or roadway over a depression or obstacle b: a time, place, or means of connection or transition (Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)
Brokenness, like a deep and desolate chasm, separated,
Reaching your arms out upon the cross, forging the way,
Infinite Love poured out for the one, the many, the every,
Death and distance have no say.
Grave, where is your victory?
Eternal Life…the journey begins…covered by Your Love.
Mark 15:37-39 (New International Version)
With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!"

9th Day of Lent
8th Day of Lent
Captured by the sudden intensity of a passing storm,
cold and paralyzed,
If I struggle, I will break
Bent and bowed low, I surrender.
In stillness I wait…
for Light of sun,
for Breath of wind,
To melt away this icy burden,
To emerge free and lifted up once more.
